Ah, Mickey's Landfall - my first job as a waitress and where I met Loren. He and my ex-husband, Dave Conrad, lived across the street from one another so we hung out a lot. I remember going to his house after he was married for a party, to play cards, I think and after awhile, we noticed Loren wasn't around. He'd had enough to drink and went off to bed without saying a word, leaving his wife to tolerate us all! He was so much fun and a great guy.
