Hers’ a note from the student who The Class of 1969 helped fund.  She is a member of Show Choir and had difficulty being able to afford their annual trip.

To Whom It May Concern:

                Thank you very much for your donation to the choir department at North High School.  Without your help, many students, including myself, would not have had the incredible opportunity to go to the National Show Choir Competition in Nashville, Tennessee.  While there, your contribution helped bring us to sing at the Grand Ole Opry, record two songs in the Historic Studio B, write a song for the group with the established songwriter, James Dean Hicks, see a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry and watch a production of Big River.  Our choir also received a tour of Studio B, the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Not to mention, with your assistance, the North High School Show Coir was able to stay at the gorgeous Gaylord Opryland Hotel and have dinners at the famous Hard Rock Café and Wild Horse Saloon.  We can’t forget the bus fees your contribution covered!  You can be sure none of us wanted to leave Nashville after the four days of adventure and learning you enabled us to have.  Thank you again.  I hope you know how much your donation was and always will be appreciated and treasured.
